Having completed three large-scale home renovations in the last eight years, I can honestly say working with BJ Kerper General Contractors was by-far my best experience.  The communication and professionalism of BJK (Bruce, his team and his office) is unparalleled. 

I recently purchased an old home and renovated the entire first floor and basement. Bruce addressed everything from significant structural issues to optimizing the kitchen/family room design.  They were committed to executing every last detail of my project as it related to functionality (HVAC, plumbing, electrical rewiring and panel upgrades, etc.) as well as aesthetics (soffit, crown and fireplace details and choice of sophisticated paint colors). 

 As issues were discovered I was provided detailed explanations so that I could make informed decisions about how best to proceed.  In contrast to previous contractors who were rarely on site, Bruce was consistently present and involved with my project.  Time and time again they anticipated what was needed and were ten steps ahead so that the project came together in the best way possible.  I still am in awe of their ability to complete such a major project in such a short period of time while maintaining the high level of quality one would expect from the BJK reputation. 

 Finally, they understand how disruptive living through construction in one’s home can be.  Everyone treated my home as if it were their own.  It was left clean and organized at the end of each day with the doors locked and lights turned off. 

 I fully expect that I will partner with BJK on all my projects going forward whether at my present home or any future home.
